"Hygeia: In Greek as well as Roman mythology, Hygieia (also Hygiea or Hygeia; Ancient Greek: Ὑγιεία or Ὑγεία, Latin: Hygēa or Hygīa), was the daughter of the god of medicine, Asclepius, and Epione. She was the goddess/personification of health (Greek: ὑγίεια - hugieia[1]), cleanliness and hygiene.

Prayer to Hygeia for Help Maintaining One’s Health
"Hygeia, gracious goddess whose noble heart and healing hands are well known to all, kindly giver of strength and hearty good health to mankind, I pray to you, help me to tend my body and mind with care and constancy, grant me the discipline to moderate my vices, to modify my habits, to exercise wisdom in my choice of fare, my work and my rest. May I find my way to wellness and wholeness, may I become one who seeks the good. May I be fit to do the work of my life. Hygeia, who helps those the most who help themselves, goddess, grant me the resolve to succeed."
"Mental health – water and mental health intersected with Hygeia during two customs in Greece, the baths in the gymnasia and at the healing temples’ springs and baths. Both men and women (separately) spent time in the loutron showering, washing, rubbing, scraping their skin with strigils, and anointing each other with oil. Not only did this cleanliness promote good physical hygiene, it promoted mental hygiene as well. Humans are social creatures. We like to be touched and cared for. We crave physical contact. Group bathing and non-sexual touching sooth away anxiety, reduces the strain of interpersonal conflicts. This is one custom, caring and non-sexual touching, I wish we would bring into our modern culture."

Personal Note:
I was interested to discover that Hygeia is also the Goddess of mental health, as that is my profession. We have been in Philly 4 days and tonight I'm taking it easy!
