Kundalini Reiki

Usui Reiki

"Reiki is a spiritual practice developed in 1922 by Mikao Usui. After three weeks of fasting and meditating on Mount Kurama, in Japan, Usui claimed to receive the ability of "healing without energy depletion". A portion of the practice, tenohira or palm healing, is used as a form of complementary and alternative medicine (CAM). Reiki Update

Last night was Reiki trade number four with my Shirley. She has a roommate who is becoming a Rabbi and he practices energy work in his tradition. We decided to include him in the trade. So he showed us how to do some energy scanning, using tones for the chakra areas, very like a e i o u. And then Shirley and Victor worked together on me. I couldn't tell from the table where both of them were, nor could I distinguish between Reiki and his energy work, but it was calming and intense at the same time. It was not as visual as usual, but that's ok. I did see a giant white lotus, like a glowing candle. And we were also discussing angels, as I'd just been reading about kaballah (for Adrian). Did you know that angels have no gender (even tho they have gender specific names at times...?). Anyway I saw a large winged being that was almost fiercely protective of me. Awesome. Then Shirley and I did Reiki on Victor together. We just took a side and mirrored each other exactly. What was weird was it felt like we were one being. It was almost like a ouija board.* If she moved, I moved and vice versa. I saw images of egyptian deserts and sunsets. And I saw a falcon with a hood. I saw myself as an astrologer again and felt that Victor was probably a Hierophant.

Reiki Healing Touch

I am trained (attuned) in Usui Reiki first and second degree. I also am attuned to Kundalini Reiki (all 3 degrees).

Reiki is both a hands on form of palm healing and a Buddhist spiritual practice.

Reiki Update

Last night I had my third Reiki trade with Shirley. I forgot to write about our second share. I learned Reiki 1 with laying hands directly on the body. She learned to just touch the aura. So on our second trade I tried "her" way. I think they are both valid. I am experimenting with touching the aura and mainly find that I can feel energetic responses more intensely.

So last night we talked about my need for grounding. She sent Reiki to me first and whatever she did worked because when I was giving to her, I felt like my legs were shooting into the ground like the roots of a tree, with energy and light totally engaging every muscle. It was intense. Yay. She said she saw me like an alabaster statue with a very firm base.

I was given three visions. The first was Christ picking me up as a 7 y.o. (a traumatic time when I received the only letter I ever got from my absent father, telling me he was in Africa and had other children - he kept). Jesus picked her up and she turned into light and he absorbed her. I felt that she was integrated into me. It was like a Sozo healing.

The second was the Goddess, probably Demeter, gave me three pomegranates and then a fourth. She said "you will have three great loves" and the rest will be like the seeds, as she opened the fourth and spilled them on the ground.

The Goddess also broke off an asp (snake) from my mouth and then my mouth flowered white cherry blossoms. In other words, my tendency to speak harshly will be replace with "right speech."

The third, while on my stomach, was myself as a shreaking infant. "Why wont' anyone come pick me up?" over and over a few times. Then my grandmother came and sat next to me, as she had when I had colic as an infant. And I was calmed.

I also cried for all the children in the world who are lonely and frightened, who can be touched by Reiki/divine love.
